Okay, I'm not sure how much rancor this topic is going to muster, but I'd like to know what the difference is between Jack Devereux and EJ Wells? The reason I'm asking is that, didn't Jack rape Kayla at one point? How did they 'fix' Jack to make him fit for Jennifer's love?

The reason I'm asking is that there's quite a ton of hatred being spewed at EJ for essentially the same thing Jack did to Kayla, yet I cannot remember Jack engendering so much unmitigated hatred from the DOOL fans.

Could someone fill me in on what is different between the two? I ask this with one codicle: Constructive criticisms. I will also offer this, I think James Scott is an amazing actor. I really think James E. Reilly or Hogan Sheffer has done him a great disservice with this 'ambiguity' of what that actually 'was' per se with Sami. If again, Jack did the same to Kayla.
