This story is the worst DOOL has done in a long time, and that includes the possess Marlena one.

I find the articles glorifying it as nasty, and the actors are not helping matters with their quotes justfiying this story and trying to turn it into something romantic.

All that said, I still can't bring myself to the point that I think Sami is above the writing.

If it was any other female characters they were writing this for, even the ones I hate, I would not buy at all that they would fall for this disgusting rapist and them trying to justfy their attraction to the man who raped them and terrorized them afterward.

But for some reason, I totally believe Sami can and is not surprise that she is. And it's not even because I hate the character.

There's something about Sami that has always bugged me. Even when she's trying to do right, I always feel like she belongs in the gutter, and she prefers to be there. And been w/ EJ is the lowest gutter she can ever put herself in.

So yeah, I can see her w/ EJ. I can see her justifying what he did. I can see her pretending that this man didn't violate her in the worse way to make been w/ him some grand romance in her lame deluded brain. I can see her justifying all the things he did to her family, and even her child to make herself OK been w/ him.

So yeah, for some reason that I can't even begin to explain, this story fits Sami to a T.

I couldn't see any other female characters playing that nasty role BUT Sami.

Bash away, but that's just how I feel about it.

The worst storyline in Daytime ever for me, and that's saying something.

But if they are insisting on writing it, I would rather it be w/ Sami.
