Nicole and by extension Eric off. I wonder if they wrote them leaving town because the show was expecting to negotiate with AZ for a new contract and TBTB expected N/E would be back on canvas in a few weeks. Now I wonder what will happen with Eric. He could come back alone, I suppose, or they could recast Nicole. Personally, I don't want a new Nicole. AZ is just Nicole in my mind, no one else would fit right. And I would be ok with letting Eric stay gone. He's never really added that much to the show, IMO. His role has always been "well meaning but dumb hunk". Hey, GregV could show up in a few weeks as a totally new character. LOL!
