I also think it’s very sweet that Yuri reassured Guy’s parents. I think that probably put a few more points in the “Yuri’s not a such a bad guy” column for people like Bruno. I know he’s never gonna be Yuri’s biggest fan (way too much has gone down with Baby that Bruno didn’t like), but I like it when everyone has a healthy respect for each other.
Mrs. Kim coming to Chicago. I really enjoyed this idea, until she got there. Though of course she would show up with a pilot on her arm. Hehehe
I love that Twink was thinking of sending for Lurch. That’s what an already crowded yacht needs – a puppy! LOL So Twink. I bet she missed Grant too, even if she wasn’t about to send for him.
LOVED Grant’s concern that she stopped off in London to see Aleksandr. Grant, Cassadines don’t go for rich girls. And Twink’s not interested in him either. Too cute that he’s growling at his coworker. For a guy who can keep a secret, he can’t keep his feelings secret at all. And Grant in a family apartment…hehehe He better fly straight or Cole will leave him sleeping on a curb.
I can’t help but wish that Yuri had been able to attend the match. Of course, Narin is right (as usual). Yuri’s presence would cause more trouble than it was worth and Killian is a great replacement. Love that Twink’s fighter took her words to heart and Narin’s rockstar moment.
Like I said, I did not appreciate Mrs. Kim’s snide comments. Yes, Maeve choice in husbands was bad. Yes, Henry and Eli have “uncles”, but it’s not like that. And if Stefan Cassadine heard someone suggest otherwise, well, I shudder to think how that would go. Yuri’s lucky to have Maeve and vice versa. Mrs. Kim needs to get over it. There’s not many “nice girls” who have families who would welcome Yuri into their family with open arms, regardless of Mrs. Kim’s belief that the the sun rises and sets with Yuri.
Yuri’s relationships with the boys are great. And I adore how he looks out for Maeve and reminds her she can tell him anything and he will make it better for her, no matter what. I need one of those.
Fabulous chapter (and I really enjoyed all the treats). Sorry so late, but if you’re still doing treats, I still want them (will beg!).
