He's very protective of her that is for sure.
Ah, I think he was looking out for Yuri here. If Maeve heard him messing some guy up, the bloom would be off the rose. She knows he does it, but hearing/seeing it would be different. He'd have a few nights back in the basement apartment, at the very least, before he could win her back and he doesn't like that idea at all.
Hill is just as bad. It's why Skye was concerned about her glomming onto Edward and believing everything that the old man said. They worry about her and what is going to happen when the old man passes (not on my watch) Her being infatuated with Isaac is a good thing... she could be looking like a guy like dear old Grandpa.
1) Very glad we're not losing Grandpa on your watch. My heart can not take it.
2) OMG if Hill started dating a younger version of Edward, Edward would be first in line to take him out. It would be hysterical. He's not going to like anyone, but definitely not someone like him.
