Here's the situation. Today you owned your part in all that happened to Michael, that might happen to Morgan and that you refuse to let happen to Jake. You also let Carly know that she's as responsible as you are, as Sonny is.

Now, to this point, you've whacked the shooter, a man who did what you do, though not as carefully. He's paid for his part in all of this. If you're serious about making up for the mess you made, for the mess you have helped perpetuate in Port Charles and elsewhere, it's time to get down to some serious killing. (Hey, Guza!! You love shooting and bloodbaths, here's a surefire winner!)

The way I see it, you have a lot of killing to do. First off, you really need to shoot Sonny. I'd appreciate a scene in which you lay it all out for him, where you tell him that while you understand why he got you into the murder business, it was a bad thing and led to worse. He needs to die to atone for his part in this mess. Heck, he needs to die to keep him from ever procreating again. Then, get the job done. This needs to be done onscreen and the audience needs to know that the Sonny era is OVER.

Yes, Carly has to go, too. She was dumb enough to trust you, to love and trust Sonny, to let him act as father to Michael and then to give him another child. Her one redeeming quality is that she loves completely and has owned her part in this mess. She has also married a much better man this time around. On second thought, we can postpone whacking her for a bit.

The Zacharras and Lansings--Trevor and Ric--have to go. Anthony is a psychopath, utterly without conscience and those are his good qualities. The longer he lives, the more people die. Besides, look at the monsters he's raised. Trevor is almost as bad. Ric is following in his father's shoes. Take out the lot of them.

There are henchmen and women--Max, Milo, Diane and Alexis, but they are small potatoes and can actually do right with some guidance. Still, if not for them, Sonny would have been long gone and for that, the lot of them should get the business end of your gun. I'm waffling here--but both of them need to own their part and refuse to ever represent mobsters again.

Of course, Jerry Jax needs to go. His hands are so bloodstained that it isn't even funny. I do like SR, so I'll suggest that the real Mr. Craig shows up and we learn that he's really a British agent and a good guy, friend to Anna. Apparently Dr. Devlin thought he had a great face and used him as model for Jerry. Naturally, Mr. Craig didn't know this. We get a great scene in which Craig confronts Jerry. Anyhow, Jerry is terminated with extreme prejudice. Mr. Craig does not like what Jerry did while wearing Mr. Craig's face.

Things are settling down now, Jason. It's time to consider the remaining people. We have at least one person who has kept you from murdering at your leisure, and for that, he deserves to live. I'm talking Spinelli, a kid with good intentions whom you led, nay, forced, to do your bidding. Yeah, you took a relatively, though not entirely innocent geek and turned him to the dark side, or at least have him headed in that direction. He is trying, though, to have a respectable career in investigations.

So, Jason, I'm finding myself wondering if death is too good for you. Whacking yourself means that you can't stick around to watch over Jake, Morgan, and possibly help Michael when (since we know he will) recover to whatever extent he will. He'll need someone to guide him through the rough spots of coming back from a serious brain injury, somebody who will not turn him to murder as Sonny did you.

Yeah, Jason, you have to live to atone for the bad stuff you did. I'm also thinking that Carly needs to live, too, to experience what she put Monica through when her kid rejects her because she wants him to be who he was. But, maybe you can save her from that, even as she comes to realize that she has forever lost her son though her own doings.

So, she can live. She hasn't suffered enough, though she's showing growth, something that is beyond Sonny.

There's your list, Jason. Sonny, The Zacharras, Ric and Trevor.
