We have had to endure a couple of weeks of wise cracking, Sonny smack downs by the face wiping Connie, plotting and planning to ruin Kate's marriage to the man she deeply loves. This, we are told, is to "protect" Kate. It shows how deeply disturbed Connie really is. Blackmailing rapists and murderers to keep Kate "safe" from evil "Kate loving" Sonny, is so ridiculous even the most dedicated Connie lover has to admit the theory is sick and twisted.

We watched the usually observant street smart Sonny blindsided by his desire to protect Kate at all costs and to support her every desire, thereby failing to take note of the un-Katelike behavior that Connie was exhibiting daily.

Now we have the marriage from hell to cope with. Sonny fans are told to step up to the plate and swallow this nonsense like good little soldiers and watch. That is what we are doing, but soldiers protect what is important to them. So while we don't like it, and we WILL speak out, we should also continue to support any positives in this mess.

Yesterday's positives were twofold...a nice sensible co-parenting conversation between Sonny and Alexis and a meaningful but far too brief scene between Dante, Sonny and Michael.

More madcap frolicking by Connie was tolerable because of the excellent acting Lisa did in those scenes, trying to tell us SOMEONE else knows this just isn't Kate. Thank you Olivia!

Lord only knows what the little marriage of horrors has in store for us regarding Johnny and Kate but we are told CARLY will be so hurt. Ummmmmm, what is Sonny, chopped liver? He will be devastated but Carly is going to need all the support she can get, we are told. Yeah, okay.

So, let's suck it up, take one for the team and hang in there fully supporting our guy who gets yet another failed wedding with Kate, possibly another shooting at the wedding that will be blamed on his "danger magnet" self and a non-bride from hell.

Nasty as it sounds, I will be doing live recaps. Maurice has asked his fans to please watch this mess and take from it what we can. I will try to do that, but get ready for some sarcastic "support" where merited.
