RC has gotten rid of the characters of Matt & Ewen after he made Matt a killer and Ewen evil and both characters actually had a role on GH. Blair doesn't fit on GH except to prop up the other OLTL rejects. Meanwhile GH characters like Patrick have crappy writing and lose a key relative that could have impacted his storyline a lot and Liz ends up with no potential love interests.
