I watched live...the whole show in its entirety and came away with more questions than answers and some casual observations, some hard facts and some frustration. All packed in one show.

Here is what I came up with.

The scenes between Sonny and Jason were thinly veiled because all who watched and liked SaSon felt the real feelings of Steve and Maurice throughout those scenes as two 20 year friends were saying goodbye moreso than the characters they played. This lead MANY Sason fans to one big conclusion...it took twenty years to develop and nurture a close SaSon friendship and this was the best they could do? About five minutes total saying a non-goodbye? Will there be flashbacks of them when Jason is declared "gone, dead whatever"

This leads to the next observation. Again GH fans were tossed under the OLTL bus. Is it REALLY necessary to have long dramatic scenes between two OLTL heavyweights during the last weeks of Steve's time on GH. Give that time to GH characters and THEIR fans. If they could shelve the Sonny stories for six days, they could postpone Tea and her grief for a week and give that time to the Jason goodbyes which would include more scenes with Sonny for sure.

Moving on to Connie. Was that disgusting charade and parade of poor taste and painful watching a deliberate move to lessen Connie's appeal over Kate's, because if it was, it sure worked for many I talked to. Johnny is now a useless disgusting hard to watch character who lacks the flamboyance of his crazy gramps and lumbers across the screen now like a self pitying moose.

Connie, in that ridiculous outfit yesterday, for the most part, annoyed and destroyed any appeal she had for me. Just get this woman some help and bring back the Skate LOVE story. Maurice more than saved those scenes with a heart wrenching display of love and care. Give this woman the cold shoulder, Sonny, and keep trying to find Kate while doing it.

There is a good story to be told between Sonny and Trey. The kid was ditched by his mother and found out he has a nutso for a father. Sonny can empathize with his pain, drawing from his own childhood. Go there. Work in Kristina and Alexis and Michael.

We need to move forward and integrate these OLTL characters so that THEIR time is OUR time, meaning put them in scenes more with a number of GH characters instead of with each other.

So be it. Other than that, what have you folks got? That's my take on the show right now.

We waited six days for Sonny and Maurice has not disappointed. Let's get back to even, consistent story telling.

Oh wait, why the heck is Duke now after Sonny wanting everything he has? Duke? Let's put Sonny and Luke on it together since Luke already has reason to hate Duke.
