His character is all over the place, too wishy washy and tepid. Give the kid a spine and have him take a stand of some kind. I understand where he is coming from. He found out his mother dumped him in a drawer and his father is a murdererous psycho not the loving father he apparently had "off screen." He needs to be written with more depth.
