And what a topsy turvy world it is going to be for a bit. Jason is supposedly dead and gone. Bernie, target practice for two assassins, is definitely dead. Money has been transferred that needs to be re-transferred back to where it came from. Sonny doesn't know about this yet. Slimy Grimace's last acts were as scurvy and disgusting as ever..blackmailing Tracy into calling Trey and lying on his deathbed to his son about who shot him, blaming Sonny of course. Unfortunately we get Slimy and son back again today.

SO...we got a day without Jaws, Psycho Babe and her rodent hubby, they slipped up and forgot to shove the lying cowardly weasel/toad in for his usual multiple two minute minimum scenes and no Heather for a day. That in itself made for some monumental watching yesterday.

Great scenes by Lante, beautiful and tender and very well acted. Our guy had very brief scenes but what we did see was Sonny (shoeless because what fool jumps in deep water with leather shoes on weighing him down), written to be properly stunned and grief stricken and acted forcefully with just the right mix of anger, fear and heartbreak by Maurice.

But let's look ahead. Lying Grimace has accused Sonny of shooting him but that will be resolved because Sonny got the call with witnesses present, arrived after the cops did who were called there because of shots fired. But it will mess up even more, the relationship with Trey Sonny needs to get help for the trampy side of Kate, Connie the male rape/rapist fan, hopefully out of her campy hooker outfit by now.

The show ended yesterday after Sonny's short but meaningful scenes, and McSavior and Sam's long, repetitive and boring scenes, with Sonny standing at Sam's door. Previews tell us he is there with the grim job of telling her about Jason being shot.

We pick up today with a very heavy hearted Sonny telling Sam about the shooting. Should be a good scene for both. He will also be telling the sneering, screeching whale, Carly, in a day or so about Jason, Sonny needs armor for that revelation and ear plugs.

Let's take a minute to look at Sonny's support system..Alexis, Alexis and Alexis. Soon he will again feel the wrath of Connie, face numerous accusations, an angry Trey will be a headache and Michael will be pressing once again to join the mob. Fun stuff for our guy? Don't think we will be seeing those dimples for a while.

In summary, writers, please cut out the cute stuff now with Connie...Sonny needs his woman back and that definitely is NOT Connie. Start bringing Kate back so Sonny and Kate can help each other.
