I'm not sure we are in Port Charles; most days I feel like we are in Llanview; I don't get why OLTLers still get more airtime than GHers but anyhow; sometimes I want to click my heels (ironically my name is Dorothy) and be transported back to Port Charles time when the Lifers weren't around.) I don't mind characters from other soap VISITING but overshadowing the storylines and the characters is not what I had in mind.

Regarding my title of this post, this week I was originally expecting a long line of "Let's blame Sonny" mantra. I even had ear plugs ready and not just for the Screecher queen but lo and behold, she surprised me. Sam let "Uncle Sonny" babysit Danny and didn't throw "Why wasn't it you???" in his face. To my surprise, I didn't need to use my earplugs! Sonny with Danny spelled dimples galore and it reminded him of his last scenes with baby Emma. The writing and the show allowed the viewers to honor Sonny and Jason's friendship by letting him dive into the water to find him. Sonny told Jason he could leave the mob and Jason said no. Is the show actually showing us that it's not Sonny's fault for Jason's actions?? We shall see in the weeks to come...

Anyhow, I love how far Sonny has come; that he knows that talking about it is better than sitting in a dark room alone and smothered in booze is not the answer. I'm glad Alexis is there for him; I'm glad that she also sees how much Sonny needs Kate back and has his back and is doing what they need to do to Kate back. Granted, the timing is bad regarding Trey but desperate times calls for desperate measures and if we don't get Kate back now, who knows if we ever will. It beats having this trashy, whorey tramp in our faces who continues to disgust me.

Here's to a continuous, layered writing for Sonny and to some glimmer of hope that Kate is will be back soon for Sonny before it's too late.
