I recently was watching clips from very beginning S&C, the scene when Jason told Somny he was leaving. Wow what a contrast between writing then and now. The goodbye scenes were freaking amazing. The beginning of the love story for S&C was also great, long time building, believable, angsty in a good way. Sonny hasn't really had a properly built love story since then IMO. Right after Alcabarf was when the womanizer Sonny crap started which was pure character destruction.
