Most of us are still riding the Sonny train to nowhere these days. Where are we going? Heck most of the time we can't even remember where we have been...except for Sonny diving in the water looking for Jason, Sonny with that adorable baby, Sonny telling Sam and Jaws about Jason, Sonny/Michael in a touching scene. and a good Sexis scene, our guy's scenes were unproductively written, wonderfully acted, and boringly short and, if with Connie, annoying and mainly written to support story line for others.

The above scenes covered the last three weeks or so and in summation...on the plus side, there is none. Our guy is no farther ahead than before at all.

On the negative side, he has lost Jason, Bernie, Kate for now, and maybe Michael and gained yet ANOTHER new enemy, AJ, to go along with Rodent and Duke. Oh and let's not forget the ever annoying Connie who is always there to stick it to our guy and that just promises to get worse this week. Now he inherits Diane back to block any progress he might have had with Kate/Connie.

If the Sonny train was a bus, it would feel like we were stuck in a foot of muck unable to move forward at all. I know, I know, they are simply writing Sonny to lose everything..they think it is 2011 again. Why not just press the repeat button and skip this stuff. We did it all last fall.

Todd moves forward into every story, taking Jaws with him, and adding to our distress, two mouthy babes from OLTL. Throw in Starr and McBain, and keep telling those of us who buy invisible bridges, that this is not Llanview reinvented.

BUT any scene with Maurice is worth supporting, and so, we chug along, looking for scraps and crumbs, waiting to hear whether Maurice will sign on or not. If he sees any of this the way it is playing out for all but Connie fans, he has to be studying future story line very hard. I hope he does for his sake, of course, and for his fans.

I will do recaps today since Sonny gets used again to not believe Carly so she can run to Toad today. Sound exciting? Of course not unless you love S&C. If not, just another day at the boring writing for Sonny office but let's hang in there.
