Reading SZ it was like he went and attacked Carly, but that isn't really what happened.

He was more confused and then shocked and angry for AJ.

I think the scenes were well done. Michael questioning and hoping that AJ was lying and then finding that he wasn't and the anger came.

For once, Michael being angry with Carly and something she's done didn't play like hatred, but simply anger at her. Glad the scripwriter understands that being angry with someone doesn't translate into hatred.
