I didn't particularly care for the reason Guza gave Robert for playing dead, but at least it was about Anna and Robin.

RC had Robert skip out on Robin's funeral, chasing after his fake son, because he was duped by Luke and Holly.

I'd take Robert in the boy scout uniform over that.
