particularly when it comes to that storyline.
Granted I never had much use for Kate, and I didn't think she worked. And Skate always came across as the nursing home pairing to me. The two people who find each other later in life and settle for each other because they don't think they'll find a big scary love. And in some ways Skate was kind of sweet and adult that way.
This new version doesn't even have that appeal. It doesn't surprise that RC likes the actress who now plays Kate, she reminds me a lot of the chick who played Jessica on OLTL. Both of them chewed the scenery all over the place, but at least Jessica was Vicki and Clint's kid.
