the first year of his son's life stolen from him that he even fought back. And given the extreme lengths Carly went to make sure that he couldn't parent his own child, I can't blame him for getting nasty and playing dirty. And he paid for getting nasty and playing dirty by being demonized by the town and his family and then losing his child to the town thug.
