Saying that Carly and AJ were neck and neck implies they both had the same time with Michael.
They didn't. Carly always had him and AJ barely had him.
And no, AJ wouldn't have done to her what she did to him.
They both had a right to be in Michael's life as his parents.
Carly got her right and screwed him up. AJ didn't.
It's not fair to hold AJ accountable for stuff that never happened and say it's a fair comparison to what DID happen on Carly's watch.
Michael should have been raised by his parents. Sure, he probably would have been screwed up in some way, that's to be expected, but at least he would have been raised by the only people who had the RIGHT to raise him.
But I can tell you that Michael wouldn't have been around guns, or been shot in the head for standing near Sonny, or been raped in prison because nobody was protecting him.
Those things happened. Not because of AJ, but because of Carly and the men she allowed to raise Michael.
