They all feel contrived and false on some level. I don't expect to know if AJ has an agenda, but for the most part I should at least feel like the reactions are honest and reasonable under the circumstances. And right now that part is missing for me.
The Michael agenda, in particular, is ridiculous. It would have been one thing if Michael hadn't be shot in the head, killed a woman, and then raped while in jail (all of which were consequences of being brought up in the mob), but because he has experienced those things and what living in the mob life means his reaction seems especially naive and delusional.
