Think about all the people who have been hurt by her maneuvering: Sonny, Johnny, Todd, Starr (or so she thinks), and now Molly. I'm sure that there were others, but the first three in this list have killed before and Starr was giving it serious thought. Molly is hardly murderer material, but she has friends who might undertake whacking Connie on her behalf.
Granted, Connie has built herself a reasonable protection wall, what with her blackmail plans, but no plan is foolproof.
What I am expecting to see is for Molly to be rejected by her mother in terms of suing Connie and for Molly to call her father thereby bringing Ric Lansing back to town. That would be interesting as I believe that Ric knew Kate rather well. I'm not sure if he ever encountered Kate as Connie, though, but it is not impossible, as we know that Connie appeared off and on while Kate was running Crimson. Kate would find that she had lost time and that was also while Ric was off screen, so it is not outside the realm of possibility.
There are so many intriguing possibilities.....
