vets that are left now, are in a similar position to him. They are used now and again, but they don't really have any sort of storyline, and they almost all take back seat to either a Liver or a newbie (the exception being the classic airhogs Sonny and Carly, but even they have to be tied up with a newbie or a Liver).
And to be honest, it just pisses me that the first real firing under the new regime is a character that has ties back to one of GH's oldest families, and that there was absolutely no attempt made to even try and make the character work better.
But, as I've said below, I'm pretty sure this is just the start. And Liz's role in the hospital has basically been replaced. By that middle school nitwit Sabrina.
