they cost a lot of money and the ratings didn't go up. They only went up some and then back down when they brought back GH characters played by the original actors as stunts.

IMO ABC wants out of the daytime soap business. But getting rid of the OLTL Rejects IMHO would only be good for GH since MAYBE they'd be forced to actually write for the GH characters plus they'd have money to bring back other GH characters like Jax, Nikolas, Ned, Stefan, etc. that GH viewers IMO would want to see.
