I have heard these same questions from so many loyal fans of GH and Sonny....this show is not rewarding the loyalty of many fans at all who stood by LOYAL actors and actresses giving their all during very hard times.

Instead the new regime is being praised for giving jobs and tons of air time to former GH actors, OLTL actors and newbies while those who kept this show going during hard times fight for what little time they get for themselves and their fans.

Huge fan bases look the other way often now as their favorites spend long periods off screen entirely.

Many who are getting what they want confuse honest venting and ranting, something GH fans have understandably done for years, with "complaining and whining." Whining indicates complaining without legitimate basis but venting is defined by solid legitimate facts. These facts are totally defined in all that you say above. They say to be patient and we ARE being patient, but patience is fired by the freedom to vent in order to support what we hate as well as what we like.

The questions are very legitimate and the negatives well defined. All we SFF's ask is that the integrity of the Sonny character be respected and it is not in terms of his professional and personal history.

Real Sonny would be written to put the importance of Jason's death above all that we have seen since Jason died. He would be concerned greatly about who killed Bernie, the money transfer and his business in general. He would be ANGRY about the way he has been treated by Connie and Johnny and while still respecting Kate, he would have NEVER allowed Johnny or Todd to gain power over his character.

These are legitimate discussions that fans who care about Sonny are not only allowed to have, they should be pointed out. Sonny is about a lot more on this show than a sexy romp with someone like Connie to get back Kate. Kate and Sonny were about love, not cheap sex. They were about MUTUAL caring, not game playing.

That is why we have this post. So ALL SFF's have a format for support and discussion. These posts always air our concern and support for Sonny. Maurice is happy and we are happy for him. But as fans we have a right to express what we are happy AND unhappy about personally. It is better to watch Sonny and vent than to stop watching altogether.
