Obama did really well tonight.
And I hate to harp, but Romney did baaadly, and he even had flop sweat, and yet most of the Repubs are out holding ground about this. Even though the voters in the polls think he lost, and pretty handily. But the media isn't jumping up and down proclaiming what a flop sweat, sleepy Romney that he he was.
Which Romney was. He showed up....barely in this debate, but the media isn't up about THAT. And he did pretty badly in the debates, like that Obama did everything he wanted to do, only better, so how is he going to have any foreign policy when he doesn't have Obama to crib from anymore.
And yet there isn't the media pile-on...after TWO debate losses (and tonight was another baaad night for the the R ticket) and the R side is even more in step with being in step.
And THAT is how you do that, sad to say, on the media side.
Not that I think it will ultimately matter. I do think Obama will win. I just am more pissed off about the state of the media in this country at this point. Have been since I took my first media class a few years ago, and it hasn't been wrong yet, and it's just gotten scarier. Which not surprisingly, is also the case of the US population, as a whole.
