I just don't get how Obama could joke with Mitt at this dinner with the super wealthy. People are hurting across this nation because of the policies of politicians like them, and the two of them are making jokes.

This type of stuff makes me wish there was a third party. Cuz, Obama and Romney sounded almost alike during their debate last night.

For instance, they both want to protect Israel, and don't want Iran to get nuclear weapons. (Israel has nuclear weapons but neither says anything about that.)

Why is it always about Israel? There are tons of other nations on this planet. They don't even mention the needs of Africa - the continent that Israel is on. Haiti, which is closer to the U.S. than Israel.

South America. Central America. And, so on and so on.

And to think about all the millions - possibly billions of dollars - going into this presidential election while people are suffering because of the policies that come out of the White House - whether Demoncrat or Republicon is in charge.

I just wish there was true democracy in this nation. Stuff like this make me realize that the Reps and Dems are opposite sides of the same corporate coin that bought them. It's all a sham.

That's why I am Independent. It's sickening.
