large, fairly liberal major newspaper in blue state NJ - had as its front page "race too close!"

but every state that was "trending" was trending to Romney whereas Obama was "struggling" to hold onto his states. And where Florida is concerned, it's "tough to reverse the trend" meaning Romney will win but somehow that logic doesn't apply to Ohio, where Obama is leading?

The reporter also said the Romney camp is more upbeat whereas Axelrod is "defiant."
