That is the piece of information I haven't heard yet. I also I also find his collection of "supplies" to be silly.

While I appreciate the intent to help people in the effected areas, I also don't understand why he isn't encouraging people to donate to the existing charities who already have infrastructure and know how to handle these types of situations.
