Either way, yep, this area is very conservative.

There is a smaller cluster within Bakersfield that is marginally D. So, parts of Bakersfield do have D representation, but that is only in the State Assembly. And those reps tend to be Mod Dems. Current Assembly Member is Dr. Jasmeet Bains.
