president as soon as the words left his mouth. It wouldn't have helped VP Harris if she planned to run in the 2024 election. All in or all out. He had to look like he planned to run or step down and let VP Harris step up so she could run. Unfortunately, the timing sucks/ed. He should have made the decision and stepped down earlier.
