slows the process of major change down. They get caught up in the major change they want to see happen faster and don’t think as much about the major changes they would want the time to stop. People need to understand that Trump and his cronies will completely destroy the checks and balances in our system if they can. Absolute power is never a good thing. We do need to stop this speeding train before it’s too late. We really are headed toward The Handmaid’s Tale.
People who think bad things like fascism can’t happen in the US don’t know our relatively short history which, among other things, includes slavery, a Civil War, the McCarthy era and what we did to native Americans.
