of the Kamala Harris campaign in Florida. And her golf cart rally there did get the media’s attention (which likely irked Trump, so there’s that). But The Villages is still predominantly conservative, Republican, MAGA territory. I do not see that part of Florida turning blue.
I doubt the state of Florida, overall, will turn blue. But who knows? It all depends on who actually votes there. The conservatives who live in The Villages do vote. If Kamala can convince enough Floridians to vote for her, at least, Trump may have to fight for Florida instead of taking it for granted. And Kamala, by campaigning there, has told Floridians that she hasn’t given up on or conceded them. If she can find and inspire more votes like your husbands, who knows? Big surprises is shaping up to be one of the themes of this election. You and your husband should encourage every like-minded person you know in FL to make sure they vote.
