...and Shapiro isn't a deal breaker for me or anything, but I think he's...iffy in terms of the wisdom of the choice. I mean, I get it, PA is very important, but Shapiro's got some unfortunate baggage when it comes the Palestinian conflict - not only his recent behavior with the protests, but the unearthed op-ed he wrote in college where he came thisclose to calling Palestinians as a whole hopeless savages. I get it, he was in college - I knew better than to say anything like that when I was 20. And this was one of Biden's biggest weaknesses over the last year - no real need to feed any more into it.
And then there's the whole issue with a subordinate getting accused of sexual harassment. Like, I'm not going to be overly mad if she picks him, I'm genuinely not that picky between the current choices, but I think the others are probably safer.
