FPOTUS Trump said during the question and answer session (repeatedly) that the delay was due to incompetence. I've heard elsewhere (don't remember where, sorry) that FPOTUS Trump was trying to get the NABJ to agree not to fact check him during the Q&A. They wouldn't agree and they went round and round.
