press charges was due to her fear of retaliation. This is intentional and exactly what autocrats do: they threaten and scare people into what Timothy Snyder has dubbed "anticipatory obedience."

Project 2025 is 100% real. She was put in her place and didn’t press charges because she feared for her life even after the U.S. Army defended her.
