consequences. They voted for Trump, believing that the price of basic goods will immediately get cheaper under Trump. But if he implements these tariffs, the opposite will happen. Things will get more expensive.
It wouldn’t be surprising to me if Trump doesn’t really understand what a tariff is. He doesn’t know that Puerto Rico isn’t a foreign country. He could never pass a US citizenship test.
But everybody working in the federal government better “know” that nobody knows more than Trump about everything.
