who didn’t bother to vote because they didn’t like either candidate get another huge part of the blame. If those people had voted, we wouldn’t have this second term of Trump. What is so difficult about voting against a raving lunatic white supremicist fascist! The all-or-nothing purists are finding out big time what “nothing” can be.

In normal times, very few eligible voters in the US vote during the midterms. This record-low disenchantment with the Democratic Party likely foreshadows an exceptionally low voter turn out for the midterms in two years, which is our only hope of getting back any power in Congress and putting some breaks on the damage.
