especially knowing now that Yellow-Eyes had demons in place of people he thought were his friends would color the whole experience - and then he knew Dean & his Dad were out their hunting. Where as in the last year, he thought Dean gone with truly no clue or support and shut down from the hunting life.

Still think we will find out there was more to story though.
