the Democrat she's running against has been in office for a number of years and quite honestly, hasn't done a damn thing. not a damn thing.

so people are having to make a choice between 'the same old same old' and fresh blood.

there's a contingent of folks here in CT who just want Murphy OUT - actually, they want all "career politicians" out of office, and they don't much care who gets the seat, as long as it's someone who isn't a "lifer."

it's going to be interesting, to say the least.
