For some reason, even in the horrifying tragedy of this story, this is the sentence that stood out the most to me.

To be remembered as unremarkable after a full life. That's a really powerful statement and though we clearly have no idea what snapped in her, I can't help but feel like being thought of as unremarkable in life could have a deep, lasting impact on a person.

But otherwise, this story is just so tragic on so many levels.
