had to use from my plants before winter totally killed them.

I used walnuts instead of pine nuts, and did not put in the amount of cheese that most recipes seemed to call for. Which how did I not know that basil pesto had cheese in it? Hunh.

Turned out pretty yummy. Definitely something I will want to refine in the future to get it perfect. But it was kind of fun doing, so yay!
