for what they are, though. I mean, I love to quote the "psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent" thing for S/D, but it's always, like I said, with a wink and a nod when talking to my Wincest friends. They're NOT F***ING on the show, for crying out loud.
And the Cas/Dean boyfriend thing. It's established Angels are sexless/asexual. They're NOT HAVING SEX lol.
IDK, I just get annoyed when people can't keep the fanfiction/shipping separate from the show. It's the source of half the fandom angst going on right now (and last year).
I swear, I have friends that I want to say to them, stop applying what you've read in FF to the show. I think they read so much stuff (and I read probably 30%Wincest to 70% J2, so it's not as much an issue for me) that reinforces Sam/Dean as not being able to live or breathe without each other, that they can't fathom either of them not wanting to live in each other's pockets.
They're grown men. There is NOTHING UNREASONABLE about Sam wanting to live a normal life. This is not out of character. They're not a couple breaking up, but some people are acting like they are.
And it's identical to some of the hardcore Destiel stuff going on last year when Cas walked into the lake. People just get so freaking invested in their ship that they're not willing to ride out the story and see where it goes.
I swear, I've had to unfollow half the Sam/Dean shippers on my timeline LOL, because I'm just not going to listen to the bitching.
