out to California, and Dad is putting the final stuff he is taking in the truck. He is about to do the drive, hopefully outrunning the storms. We don't close for another two weeks, but the plan was for him to leave today. We did buy ice and water. No D batteries anywhere, but we have a ton of candles. My main concern is the ability to make sure Mom gets to dialysis when needed. They already changed her day to Monday instead of Tuesday, but the way the weather seems to be going, just crossing fingers all goes well. Good luck to all!
