are hunkering down at home until the worst is over. Have water (some left over from Irene last year), flashlights, candles, extra batteries, lots of food and drink, cell phones are charged. If the roof stays on and the windows remain, we'll be okay. We've never lost power or water from a storm in all my years in Brooklyn but there is always a first time for everything. Nothing left to do now but ride it out and hope for the best.
