I think of Home as more grotesque than anything on The X-Files.

Also anything from The Reaper arc on Criminal Minds, and I recently saw an episode that is much more chilling in retrospect- Johnny Lewis (who recently murdered a woman and committed suicide) is playing a serial killer.
