We got off really lightly with Superstorm Sandy--one night of a semi-driving rain and slightly stronger than usual winds, and the power went off, and right back on again, twice, then went out later for all of maybe ten minutes in the middle of the night. But it has rained every single day since last Friday, all day long. I don't generally suffer any kind of SAD during the winter because even when we have our worst blizzards, we usually get sunshine afterwards, but the constant, monotonous, unrelenting rain, light as it's been most days, has been so depressing.
Guess I'd better never move to Seattle :-)
