...you're riding a crowded subway with your small child/toddler. Do you:

a). let you kid have his/her own seat (you did get there first, after all)
b). put the kid on your lap and free up a seat for another rider

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. I'm curious, because I see this happening all the time, including today, and I think if it was me, I'd put the kid (or even kids) on my lap and free up the seat.

Thoughts?
