rooting for her to win... Up until that point I was just curious about her, like "Ok, let's watch Lisa Welchel play Survivor" -- but I was rooting most actively for Penner, and then for Malcolm and Denise. Now she's right at the top of my list of people I'd like to see win.

I just want her safe at all costs, LOL.

I think we probably have her for a little while at least -- and I am hopeful about the preview scene with Penner, though that might be total misdirection.

God, I wanted to punch Pete in the head for going straight to Malcolm about the idol and just assuming that Lisa was lying. He and Abi need to go ASAP.

I think Pete is an idiot who thinks he's a mastermind, and that's such a frustrating kind of character. It's Russell-esque and I'm both bored and irritated by it. I did enjoy that Malcolm just flat out admitted that Lisa wasn't lying and now Pete knows how off he was.

I know, I was kind of amazed that her name never came up - until Jeff Probst threw it out there! SHUT UP, JEFF!!!! LOL

Pfft! Jeff. He's just pissed he lost Jeff Kent and no one figured out he was a multi-millionaire or anything. I do wish I could have seen the younger player's faces when they found out that Mike and Jonathan had grown up watching Lisa on TV.

I agree that the way she handled being called out definitely makes it easier for people to swallow being lied to by her and to eventually forgive her. It was actually kind of a refreshing response, having her just own up to what she had done. But man, do I need her to keep quiet at tribal for a while! LOL

Refreshing is *exactly* what it was! Because it's a game, no matter how emotional people get about it -- and I always like players who get that. One of my favourite Survivor quotes is Penner saying "There's no bad guy in Monopoly" -- and I feel like Lisa gets that. I suspect that, by referring to the other side as "evil" she really means bad tempered and hard to live with.

Oh! That was another moment I liked! The reward. Where they were all basically like "We're not aligned, but we like each other!"

I'm SO glad Penner wasn't insane about nearly getting voted out last week. It made this episode way more fun.
