I don't think she did any of it to be petty. I think the duet they performed affected them both a lot, especially her and she shut down the tour because she's afraid of how she still feels about him. I like her for trying not to give in to the obvious feelings she has for Deacon. She's trying to do the right thing.
And I don't think asking for the song for the commercial was petty. Selfish, maybe. But I think his refusal was a petty sort of punishment for pulling back from him.
And I get why she declined the call from jail. Her husband had just accused her of having an affair with Deacon and she is trying to let the past go to preserve her marriage.
So, I didn't dislike her at all. But my favorite thing was her writing on her own. I think that's a step in the right direction for her.
