I'd prefer him dead. SPN has killed some of my fave supporting characters...in my mind, Cas is just as expendable.

And if Carver has Dean forgive everything Cas did? I call foul on that, too. And I'll really wonder if he has even an iota of a clue who Dean Winchester is.
